They use either a sonic or steam cleaning method that will restore much of the luster of your jewelry. Just an aside... toothpaste works great! Seriously! Why do people buy knock off Tiffany jewelry?
I have a collection of Tiffany jewelry and I feel like every piece is special. I can't figure out why people buy fake Tiffany jewelry. For me, saving for and finally going in to buy the piece I want is half the fun.
Plus, people can tell when people wear fake Tiffany jewelry. I just don't understand why you would buy something that is supposed to be something else, but is not. I think she's a great actress and she delivers her lines brillianty. I actually laughed twice during the last two episodes, both times were when Tiffany said something that only a kid could say.|||Tiffany is absolutely brilliant! Last night I was watching Deal or No Deal and the girl playing the game, Jessica was having her "prom". They made the set look like a prom, she had an ugly gown on and her husband had a tux. Is it worth it to have a hand engraved Tiffany piece or machine engraved?
I'm a clueless boyfriend looking to purchase a Tiffany bracelet and charm for my girlfriend. I have everything picked out, but I see I can either have it hand engraved or machine. I've learned that the hand engraved is guarenteed to last a lifetime, but I'm not sure if its just a ploy to get more money. I have no problem spending more money, I'm not cheap, but some feedback on whether or not its worth it would be appreciated. Thanks|||hand engraving is nice, but it takes a long time is more expensive. i personally have all of my tiffanys jewelry machine engraved, and it works out just fine. the tiffany jewelers say that eventually machine engraving will wear off, but i think thats only with daily wear for several years.

I would like to buy a tiffany ring but I am scared that the tiny sapphires will fall out. How can I keep my Tiffany's bracelet from falling off?
My Tiffany and Co. heart toggle bracelet falls off a lot. I am afraid that I am going to lose it. What can I do to keep it staying on? Would the colors Coral and Tiffany Blue look nice for my wedding color theme?

|||That color combo is quite pretty, but it depends on where your are getting married. If you are getting married on a beach or somewhere tropical, those colors are beautiful for that area. However, if you are going to be in an area where it is Fall, you may want to go with a more subdued or less intense coral or a warmer, natural tone.|||It all depends what the theme of your wedding is because those colors together are almost tropical.

I want to throw a Breakfast at Tiffany's themed birthday party, but I am having trouble finding entertainment ideas and decoration ideas. If you have any or have thrown a party with the same theme please help me out! Thank you so much|||I would use flat mirrors scattered with fake "jewels" (like from Oriental Trading Co.) to evoke the famous Tiffany's windows. I would put the floral arrangements on the mirrors in low crystal vases. I would also use fake jewelry on the buffet table in the same clever ways the Tiffany's window-dressers use them. It doesn't matter how "cheesy" the jewels are -- if you use enough of them, it'll have a smashing effect. Tiaras, big sunglasses, and orange kitty-cats are also great accessories.
For the tablecloth, I would find several bolts of fabric in "Tiffany blue" (or as close to it as you can come - I think they trademarked the color), and do small favors in blue boxes with brown ribbons. I am having an outdoor wedding in mid July with an indoor reception. We have chosen to use Tiffany Blue for one of our colors along with white. What other colors would go well? We were thinking silver or maybe a shade of pink? Any suggestions would be appreciated. With Tiffany blue being a light shade, we'd like something dark but we're avoiding dark blues and black.|||It would look nice and summery with a canary yellow. The salt in the air will land on the silver and start to eat at it. You might not want to wear it to the beach. It's okay if you do, just be sure to clean the necklace as soon as you get home. Also, store it in an airtight plastic bag when you are not wearing it, that will keep if from tarnishing.|||Oxidization. The salt in the air triggers a chemical reaction in the metal that can blemish or dull the luster of the necklace. Sodium Chloride AKA salt has been known to corrode silver copper alloys, for example look at the top of a salt shaker and you can see corrosion around the top. Don't worry though, there are products that can clean off all of that crap and prevent it from happening and besides, unless you pour a ton of salt on your necklace or throw it in the water, you aren't going to harm it. However, I personally wouldn't take it to the beach due to all of the sand and water.

How to clean a sterling silver Tiffany necklace?
I have a Tiffany %26amp; Co. pendant, and it's starting to tarnish a little bit, what can I use to clean/brighten/shine it?|||You can either get a silver polishing cloth (Tiffany sells them and they work pretty well, but I'm sure any polishing cloth will do the trick) Or you can go to Tiffany and get it cleaned there. I know before they did free cleaning but I dont believe you can get free cleaning anymore. I want to say it is $15 for a necklace and it usually takes a few days.|||Sterling silver has a 7.5% content of copper and that is what causes it to tarnish. Tarnish will accelerate in humid weather and when worn against your skin.
The best way to clean it up is with a silver polishing cloth that is available from jewellery stores or even supermarkets. The cloth is impregnated with a fine polishing compound that won't hurt the silver and will bring back the shine. If there are any stones or pierced work then clean those with a small bowl of warm water, a drop of mild liquid detergent and an old soft toothbrush - soak it and then scrub with the brush - then rinse and leave to dry on a paper towel.
To minimise tarnish in the future, wipe it over quickly with the polishing cloth after each wear and then store in an airtight environment, such as a ziplock plastic bag.|||Put it in COCA COLA.100% result!!!

I am looking to find a wall paint color in the tiffany color turquoise. Can anyone tell me what color that would be?? How do I tell if this Tiffany Bracelet is Real?

How much would a princess cut diamond ring cost from tiffany's?
I want to buy my girlfriend a princess cut tiffany engagement ring but I don't know how much to expect to spend there for what I want. Anything lower than SI means you can see the inclusions in the diamond with your own eyes. Anything SI and above you can't see the inclusions without a 10x eyeglass, and it's not like your girlfriend's friends will pull one out to look at the diamond.
If you drop the clarity of the diamond to SI 1, you can cut a nice amount off the price.
The cut you want is a good idea, but feel free to step down to Very Good in standard, or Excellent, to save your money. How does Tiffany from SNSD act different than other Korean people(since she's American)?
I hear the Korean audience sometimes makes fun of Tiffany for acting different or "non-korean". What are the foreign things she does?|||Usually the korean people make fun of Tiffany because of the way she pronounces some korean word. Since English is her native language and Korean is her second, of course she will mess up every now and then. She also isn't 100% familiar with the Korean culture.

This will be my first time buying anything from Tiffany and Co. I want to get my best friend a pendant necklace for her wedding gift. I'm just not sure if the pendant comes with a chain. With them being so expensive I wouldn't want to buy a chain separately to find out it comes with one, and their website is vague when it comes to that.|||yea it does|||It only comes with one if the description specifically says it does. Otherwise, it does not come with a chain.|||most tco pendants come with chains...if you are looking to save money,why not shop at a jeweler that can find you a similar pendant at a very reasonable price? i recommend Diamonds of Palo Alto.....you'll thank me.
What can you tell me about Tiffany's newest ring. . . the Novo?
I understand it was first introduced in Japan in late 2006 and is now being sold in select international markets. My boyfriend and I went to look at it in Tiffanys in DC and it is gorgeous! They are only selling it in NYC, DC and San Fransisco right now. They aren't even advertising it yet but I know it's gonna sell well becuase the cut of the ring is called a "cushion cut" and it's so classy. It's like a cross between a princess cut and a round cut diamond. I think round cuts are a little too traditional and the princess cut doesent sparkle enough, but the Novo is just perfect! I hope I get one soon! I would wear it all over the place for the rest of my life! :)

50 years ago? I remember my mom taking it into Tiffany's in NYC for an appraisal? Also, I have six place settings of fine bone DeHaviland china about the same age. Originally, there was service of both for 12 but my sister and I split the each set when my mom died.|||You would have to do your research on that. If you are unable to take it in for an appraisal then check ebay for similar items to see what they are going for. I suggest you also take photos in the event someone can help you but would like to see photos.

What should i name my twins girls, Chloe and Zoey or Tiffany and Stephany?
I am really stuck on this one, my best friend is called Chloe but my grandma (whom i was really close to) was called Tiffany. Also i would like them to have some sort of connection.|||The set of twins should be Nick and Nack.
Then when you get 2 more you call them Patty %26amp; Wack.
That way whe you go to the door you call
Nick, Nack, Patty, Wack.|||Why not go for Tiffany and Chloe? Matchy twin names can get terribly confusing, and in the workplace {if they ever were to work together} they won't be taken seriously. They could also be teased in school because of this, and they'll get tired of saying "No, I'm Chloe. With a 'c'" or something of the sort. So matchy names may seem adorable whilst they're young, but will not age well. Tiffany and Chloe would be nice, and if you still wanted them to have a connection, you could possibly have rhyming middle names {Ex- Tiffany Leah %26amp; Chloe Mia, although I have to say, I'm not too fond of any matchy names}?
