Does anyone have any ideas for a Breakfast at Tiffany's bday party?

I want to throw a Breakfast at Tiffany's themed birthday party, but I am having trouble finding entertainment ideas and decoration ideas. If you have any or have thrown a party with the same theme please help me out! Thank you so much|||I would use flat mirrors scattered with fake "jewels" (like from Oriental Trading Co.) to evoke the famous Tiffany's windows. I would put the floral arrangements on the mirrors in low crystal vases. I would also use fake jewelry on the buffet table in the same clever ways the Tiffany's window-dressers use them. It doesn't matter how "cheesy" the jewels are -- if you use enough of them, it'll have a smashing effect. Tiaras, big sunglasses, and orange kitty-cats are also great accessories.

For the tablecloth, I would find several bolts of fabric in "Tiffany blue" (or as close to it as you can come - I think they trademarked the color), and do small favors in blue boxes with brown ribbons. Depending on your budget, you could give champagne glasses with blue ribbons.|||Breakfast at Tiffanys

Party Type: 50' Theme

You could print your invitation in the blue Tiffany's colour then fold it in half and tie a white ribbon around it to hold it together.

You could make this a breakfast party by cooking all 50's inspired food.

Breakfast

1. Orange juice, sauteed eggs and bacon, cinnamon toast

2. Apple juice, sausage-meat cakes, popovers, jelly.

3. Chilled grapefruit, waffles, honey cream

4. Sliced peaches, omelet or scrambled eggs, drop biscuits, marmelade

5. Tomato juice, French toast with applesauce

The music could be all 50's and 60's tunes (try the song Deep Blue Something, the song from the movie!!)

This is the best bit, you could send each person home with a small (tiffany small) box cake and you baisically make as many small squares of sponge cake as you need and cover them with icing which is the colour of the invitations and you baisically make it look like a Tiffany box and use the white ribbon to finnish it with.|||Decorate with the little Tiffany's signature robin egg blue box. You can find knock offs on line. You can fill them with strings of pearls or color beads, leave the lid askew and drape the beads/pearls around the boxes, coming out of the boxes, etc... white flowers will offset this nicely.

I'd think 1950's pulled-together glamour (like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly) would be appropriate ... social debutante:) , with lots of that pale aqua color, and silver and white ribbons... sparkle! iridescent and shiny glitter down the center of the tables; and in the invitation envelopes
