How can you tell you have an "authentic" Tiffany lamp?

I am interested in possibly making a purchase of a Tiffany Lamp.

I believe, that the signature is on the lampshade underneath.

How can you "spot-the-not"?

I am interest in what kind of price range for a floor lamp that is a collectors item?|||Remember all Gods children are stewards of the Money God has given them. .we are not to have our treasures on Earth. Think before you buy a Tiffany Lamp if this would be Pleasing to the Lord and what is your motive behind buying it. If it is to make Money, then you are wise with His mammon but if it is for self where Rust can corrode and moth to destroy, then your reason is not in the best interest of your Lord. You can do what ever you like, but this is just an encouraging word to put God first in everything and consult in Him before you make any choices when its the two of you always that live together on this Planet. God be with you always and Love in Him..missleslie|||For an authentic Tiffany, you could be looking at $75K too $100K

All the home shopping networks and better retail stores have perfectly fine "stained" glass lamps. Pick your budget.

Some pieces have a signature, and some don't. It's knowing if the signature is real that is a trick. It's easily faked with an etching tool.
