How do you know a real Tiffany lamp from a fake?

Real Tiffany lamps are antiques, and quality and construction techniques set them apart from fakes or reproductions.Real tiffany lamp will have real leaded glass shades on them. Which rest on brackets, they do not have a finial on the top that screws them to the base. There are other things to look for but space is limited here. But I am most certain that those at JC Penny are reproductions at best and in the style of , most likely.|||At JC Penney it's probably a Tiffany "style" lamp not an actual Tiffany.
